Ocean Re is pleased to announce the appointment of Pedro Pinzón as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO), reinforcing the Group’s commitment to robust risk management, sound governance, and sustainable growth across its global operations.
In his new role, Pedro will lead Ocean Re Group’s enterprise risk management strategy, overseeing the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks across the organization. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to further strengthen the Group’s risk culture,support strategic decision-making, and ensure a disciplined approach to navigating an increasingly complex global risk landscape.
Pedro brings extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, with a strong track record in risk management, underwriting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and capital management. His appointment reflects Ocean Re Group’s continued investment in building a world-class leadership team capable of supporting the organization’s long-term vision and delivering value to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
