Ocean Re Recognised as a Great Place to Work® Across Global Operations

Ocean Re has been recognised as a Great Place to Work®, with 95% employee participation and a Global Trust Index™ score of almost 80%, reflecting strong and growing trust, collaboration and confidence in the company’s direction.

Culture + Careers

The recognition provides independent validation of Ocean Re’s investment in its people, leadership and culture as the company continues to grow internationally. Importantly, employees highlighted the changes made over the past 12 months, increased visibility and engagement from management teams, and the direction of initiatives planned for the year ahead as contributing to a more inclusive, collaborative and connected organisation.

“This recognition matters because it validates something fundamental to how we are building Ocean Re: culture enables performance,” said Diego Cervantes-Knox, Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Re. “When people operate in an environment of trust, accountability and shared ambition, they make better decisions, innovate and create better outcomes for clients, colleagues and partners. With 95% of our people participating, this is a powerful reflection of the organisation we continue to build together.”

Great Place to Work® certification is based on direct employee feedback and assesses key dimensions of workplace culture, including trust, credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. For Ocean Re, the results provide both an important external benchmark and insight into how employees are experiencing the company’s transformation.

The feedback is particularly significant as Ocean Re continues to evolve. Employees recognised not only the impact of changes already implemented, but also the direction of those planned for the next 12 months. Greater management visibility and engagement were specifically identified as helping strengthen communication, trust and alignment across the business.

Our people are seeing and experiencing the change,” said Benjamin Sanchez, Chief People Officer of Ocean Re. “Greater leadership visibility and engagement are helping us become more inclusive and collaborative. What is especially encouraging is the confidence our people are showing in where Ocean Re is heading next.”

As Ocean Re continues its international growth, the company sees its culture as a competitive advantage: helping attract and develop talent, accelerate execution, strengthen resilience and deliver consistently for clients across markets.

Great Place to Work® recognition is therefore both an achievement and a benchmark for what comes next as Ocean Re continues building a high-trust, high-performance organisation with the ambition, talent and culture to support its next phase of growth.
